Confirmation

The sacrament of Confirmation completes the process of Christian initiation begun at Baptism.  It celebrates and acknowledges the presence and action of the Holy Spirit in our lives and the life of the Church.  St. John’s Youth Confirmation Program is a two-year program for high school youth.  It meets several times during each year allowing the candidates time for discernment and formation as they seek to follow Christ as one of His disciples.  There is retreat time and information meetings to guide candidates on the journey.  Facilitators, sponsors, families and the entire church community work together to assist and empower the candidates as they give witness to their faith in words and action by using their gifts to live out their Christian vocation.  Please contact Nicole Mahncke at NManx@StJohnHillsdale.com for information about the High School Program.

Adult Confirmation (18 years and older) follows the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) Process.  Please contact Cathy Wollyung at 201-666-2707 Ext. 217.
